Oh, Dex. It's too early for this. Are you going to another Star Wars convention?

No. Check this fork out. It looks like plastic. But it's made from cornstarch. But it doesn't dissolve in water. At least not for a few days. I tested it.

It's biodegradable! You can bury it in the ground and it will rot and decay, just like compost. How green is that?! Here's a link to the folks who make it. According to them, 64 billion paper and 73 billion styrofoam & plastic cups and plates were put in the trash in 2003 in the USA! Let's hope this kind of not-plastic-food-fork-thingy can make a difference. They also make cups and plates.

Morning, kids. I have another cutlery-related fact for you. If all the knives and forks from the cruise ship, the QE2, were laid end to end across the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean...

As I was saying - if all of the cutlery from the QE2 was laid end to end across the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean... the passengers would have to eat with their fingers.

Ouch. Any more of those groaners and the International Association of Bloggers will lock your laptop in a very dark room, far, far away.
