This year I propose we don't get a Christmas tree. I don't think it's very nice for the planet to be cutting down trees every December. The poor forests!

Actually, most Christmas trees are grown on tree farms! Like in this picture. Each year they cut some down and plant some new ones. They're all planted just for the purpose of growing Christmas trees, so we're not really hurting any natural forests.

Oh, um, right. Yeah I guess I knew that. I mean, I've never been to the woods to saw down a tree. Of course they come from Christmas tree farms.
